I have the same rims in silver on my 924 and i think they look alot better than the black. I wish parts were that easy to find in Australia.

It may be worth trying normal T-Cut as that is essentially a very fine paste. If not try rubbing compound which is the next step up – its available at any motor factor.

sounded like a gritty paste (more gritty than tooth paste) which removes a lot of texture.

BTW do not use this kind of tool for paint polishing. As one may know from school speed outside of rotating disc is much faster than inside so it is very easy to grind paint to the metal or make polishing very irregular and that is disaster. For this kind of work one should use oscillation tool.

Slinkyguitar47 is right, he should take it out of the car and hammered it from other site. This is problem with this show. It’s nice but what they do is just take the easiest fixing solution whitch is good for now bot not for profesional restoration. That’s why those cars looks better but in fact they are much the same after and before.

He should not have drilled and ground on the quarter panel. These cars were galvanized with zinc to prevent rust. He’s ground it down to the metal and has removed the galvanization. That 924 will h have rust problems later.
