thanks sparks444 for sharing these good work

it’s the good price for a 924 in this conditions.
but in my opinion (I’ve owned 14 porsche transaxle), red is not a good color for the 924. the rims look ugly in black, and the 944 spoiler breaks the design.
the porsche stickers on the sides… no comment. waste of money
2 good points : sunroof ‘targa’ and interior in good shape.

People keep talking about Eds labour, the point of the show is to give people an idea of whats involved, a guy selling his car who does the work himself lets say over a couple of weekends would look at the profit in the sale, in this case 500.00 about 850.00 US not bad for 2 weekends work.

dollars?

The guy looked at the “repaired” quarter panel and went “WTF??!!”… THe seller also said “Original porsche decals”. Such bullshit.

So let’s see we spent about 1000 dollars in labor (slave labor), and 1000 in parts and cost of car, so we come out with a profit of minus 500 dollars.

I love this show and love that they are saving these great cars. The host does a great job and I enjoy his enthusiasm. Keep up the good work!

i found this show ranomly searching mercides e190 cosworth and have watched almost every episode so far lol… but i have noticed that mike is a greasy salesmen.. and if i can notice that from a show on discovery i wonder how greasy he was before he was on the air lol

The real winner is the dude that bought it as he got £1000′s of work done for nothing
July 20th, 2009 at 3:09 am
£500 profit its just not worth doing? How many hours of labour?

True true mate,i think mike is a bit of a cowboy myself…check out the comments on the saab turbo they are a story in it self!

thats not original decals, but mike told the guy its original
July 20th, 2009 at 3:09 am
Maybe Mike could have asked for a bit more, but, after all, this is just show-business! I read that in real life he haggles like a terrier and never sells a car for less than the asking price!
