1977 Porsche 924 Transaxle noise.
another video of the transmission noises when there is any amount of stress on transaxle (speeding up or slowing down). seems a bit louder in 1st and 2nd. This is the Martini edition, with 4speed transaxle.

Trans problems with 1977 Porsche 924
Still trying to get used to using the “hot start” switch. The transaxle DOES indeed have oil in it, which doesnt look too bad. Still trying to figure out what the noise is. Bearings in trans? just worn gears, or what? This is how I got the car, so not sure what the previous owner(s) have done to destroy the trans.

Vacuum fixes, CIS fixes, and a lot of fine tuning and idle fixes as well as sealing the CIS system to get it right. The vacuum lines are still needing fixing and a lot of parts still need polished and fixed. However, it has come a long way and is finally running much more smoothly than it was prior.

1977 Porsche 924– About how much $can he get for it? Sat in a garage, uphill for about 14 years. Body is in GREAT condition (looks nasty because its dirty). The paint is very good, but car is filthy. Needs brake lines New brakes New shocks Needs battery and terminals Needs some repair (see pics) The hatch has trouble opening Needs new fuses Brake petal needs work Some other stuff
